ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility aims to eliminate, or at least minimise, the barriers which certain groups of users find when browsing the Internet and in this way permit their access to information. The difficulties of users may be physical, psychical or related to the technology they use:
- Problems of vision, hearing or mobility
- Difficulty in understanding the content
- Not intuitive browsing
- Slow connection
- Browsers that are outdated or which do not interpret the content well
- Absence of certain devices (mouse, keypad, etc.)
Autobuses La Union is aware of the importance of accessibility on the Internet, which allows any person to access the contents of our webpage, for this reason we strive to comply with accessibility and improve day by day.
At present, there are sections in the Webpage that are not accessible, due mainly to the technical complexity of the Website or the technical difficulties that still exist at the present time, although the aim is, progressively, to ensure that all the sections of www.autobuseslaunion.com comply with accessibility.
This webpage has been designed from the outset to be accessible in accordance with the following criteria.
VISUAL DESIGN AND TEXT SIZE
A visual and intuitive design has been used which makes it possible to find the information sought in just a few clicks and without the need to browse longer than necessary.
Precedence has been given to the use of images or icons to facilitate access to the desired sections. A font with clean lines has been chosen for its legibility and, for the same reason, it was decided to use text on a white background.
All font sizes and other elements of the website have been implemented using relative units. In this way, it is possible to modify their size by using the controls in each browser. In addition to their corresponding menus, this function can be used directly using the following short-cuts:
- Internet Explorer: Control and Mouse wheel
- Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome: Control and Mouse wheel, Control and – or Control and +
- Opera: Control and Mouse wheel, Control and – or Control and +
- Netscape: Control and – or Control and +
- Safari: Comand and – or Comand and +
Exceptions to accessibility
For technical restrictions or requirements of the applications used, some of the content offered on the website may not meet the accessibility guidelines previously mentioned.
